Six Sentence Sunday: Baby, it's hot outside

This week, Alice waits outside, in high summer, for her bus. It's hotter'n hell, a thing that a chatty technologically savvy fallen angel would know a lot about. Well, of course he would.

When her phone vibrated against her hip, it felt a little like a sizzle, which made her think of bacon, naturally. Alice slipped the phone out of her pocket and touched the message icon.

Hellion10: You’re hot.

Dearlingerer: Clearly you have me confused with the bacon.

Hellion10: I do not. Shall I perform a taste test?
